Nancy B. Hiles, 86, of Zanesville, Ohio died Thursday evening, September 16, 2021 at Altercare of Zanesville.

Born April 25, 1935 in Zanesville she was a daughter of the late Robert R. and Birdie Mae (Rice) Neff and was a 1953 graduate of Lash High School.  Nancy also attended Meredith Business College of Zanesville.  She was Methodist by faith and she enjoyed painting.  In her younger years she was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and her home was always open to all the neighborhood kids.  Most of all she loved having her family and friends around.

Surviving are four daughters, Tami (Donald) Moore of Winter Springs, Florida, Sue (Michael) Holdsworth of Zanesville, Connie (Michael) Scurlock of Buckeye Lake, Ohio and Judy (Mark) Hiles of Woodland Park, Colorado; one son, Rick Hiles of Nashport; six grandchildren, Ronald (Danielle) Engle, Bo (Emily) Engle, Adam (Vonni) Hiles, Drew Hiles, Marissa Moore and Natalie Moore and one great grandchild, Myles Engle.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 55 years, Frank L. Hiles, whom she married August 27, 1956 and who died March 3, 2011; two grandchildren, Elesa and Frank Ryan Scurlock; two brothers, Robert R. Neff and Bernie Neff and three sisters, Betty Stackhouse, Frances Finnell and Bonnie Fairbanks.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.  A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at a later date.
