Nadine McArtor, 80, of Nashport, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2023 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born October 20, 1942 in Los Angeles, California she was the daughter of the late Richard and Louise (Beal) Fryer and was a graduate of La Mirada High School in La Mirada, California.

Nadine retired in 2006 from Licking Valley Schools where she was a school bus driver for 31 years.  She was a member of Marne Church and she loved to water ski.  Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her "life" and she rarely missed any of their activities over the years.

Surviving is her loving husband of 32 years, James "Jim" McArtor whom she married June 1, 1991; two sons, Rick Wheeler of Nashport and Glen Wheeler of Windsor, Colorado; two daughters, Linda (Gary) Stoneking of Newark, Ohio and Julie (Chris) Jordan of Croton, Ohio; two step-sons, Mike (Dayle) McArtor of Newark and Mark (Lori) McArtor of Nashport; one step-daughter, Molly (Dwayne) Allbaugh of Nashport; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Also surviving is one brother; a half sister and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by a daughter in-law, Ouida Wheeler.

Family and friends may call from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Wiseman officiating.  Nadine will be laid to rest in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
