FRAZEYSBURG ? Minnie Stickle Predmore, 93, formerly of 303 Brighton Blvd., Zanesville, Ohio, died at 5:00pm Monday, May 17, 2004 at the Beverly Health Care Center, Reading, PA, where she had been a resident for three years and ten months. Born February 14, 1911 in Newark, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Moore and Minnie Alice (Gardner) Stickle; was a 1925 graduate of Newark High School and attended Dennison University. She was a member of the American Guild of Organists, Soroptimist International and the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority. Mrs. Predmore was a retired employee of the Zanesville Times Recorder newspaper as an editor of the Women?s Pages concentrating on Church and Club news. She also wrote the column ?Notable Notes?, as well as full-page feature stories. From the age of 16, she was a church organist, having served in various churches in Newark, prior to moving to Zanesville, where she served the First Baptist Church, Central Trinity United Methodist Church and Brighton Presbyterian Church. She had been a resident of Reading, PA, since 1982. She served as organist of Faith United Methodist Church of Reading until the church was disbanded in the 1990?s. Later, she worked in the Foster Grandparent Program in the Reading Public Schools. Surviving is one daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Hinkle of Reading, PA; three grandchildren, Rev. Daniel Schilling of Toledo, Ohio, Elaine Schilling Davis of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Cynthia Schilling of Columbus, Ohio; five great grandchildren; a step-daughter, Virginia Predmore Brown of Zanesville, a step daughter in-law, Jeanie Predmore; three step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, U. Mack Predmore, Sr.; a brother Kenneth A. Stickle and a step-son, U. Mack Predmore, Jr. Calling hours will be two hours prior to the service, which will be at 2:00pm Saturday, May 22, 2004 at the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church with the Revs., Daniel and Joanie Schilling officiating. Burial will be in Irville Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Thursday, May 19, 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church in Reading, PA, with the Rev. Dr. George Goodrich officiating.
