A funeral service for Minnie M. McGee, 90 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Minnie passed away January 31, 2022 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was born August 12, 1931 in Louisville, KY to the late Jesse and Betty (Brewer) Triplett. Minnie was a loving mother, doting grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her children, William (Sarah) McGee, Debra Johnson, Robert (Penny) McGee, Jeannette Bush; a son in-law, John Pickrel; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Paynter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, William T. McGee; children, Judy Pickrel, James McGee and Donald McGee; siblings, Buron Triplett, Troy Triplett, Clifton Triplett, John Triplett, Opal Dixon, Martha "Peggy" Elliot, Lora Henderson and Captola Sprouse.

Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
