A funeral service for Mildred E. Snedden, 90 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Lee officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Snedden passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born October 27, 1917 in Newark to the late David and Fredericka (Hummel) Gleckler. Mrs. Snedden was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and flowers, and she loved animals. She is survived by her children, Terry (Cheryl) Williams of Westerville, James Snedden, Jr. of Newark, Kim (Sharla) Snedden of Newark, Barbara (Harold) Rader of Newark, Sandi Williams of Nashport, Linda (Jeffery) Hitchcock of Newark; grandchildren, Kelly (Keith) Clark, Kala (Randy) Dailey, Timothy (Kelly) Williams, Harold Rader, Jr., Jamie Snedden, Jason (Stephanie) Snedden, Todd (Jennifer) Hartshorn, Tregg (Debbie) Hartshorn, Keri (Craig) Griffith, Scott (Kim) Hitchcock, Steven (April) Hitchcock, Brandy Snedden, Cale Snedden; 21 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snedden was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
