Mickey Lucille Roberts, 79, of Newark, Ohio died Monday morning, April 7, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Born November 10, 1945, in Newark, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Betty (Keith) Warner.  Mickey was a firm believer in God and the best cook on earth.  She enjoyed crocheting, her dogs and cats, and going to the beach on vacations, especially Myrtle Beach. Mickey was a hard worker but left a job she loved to watch her great grandchildren.  She loved her family and spent as much time with them as she could.

Mickey is survived by her husband, Kenneth Raymond "Ray" Roberts; two daughters, Kim Saxton and Shawn Fairall, both of Zanesville; two step children, Melissa Blake and Kevin Roberts; son in-law, Felizardo dela Cruz; six grandchildren, Tyler (Kristyn) Saxton, Jordan Crist, Brittney (David) Huston, Morgan Baron, Lindsey (Tyler) Stanford and Nathan Crist; six great grandchildren, Brycen, Noelle, Brielle, Cameron, Joelle, and Noelle; five siblings, Sonie Swartz of Walhonding, Ohio, Jesse (Becky) Baker of Hanover, Sheila (Mike) Barrick of Newark, Edith (Jim) Roberts of Frazeysburg, and Raye Ann (Curt) Dawson of Houston, Texas and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen dela Cruz; granddaughter, Cassie Saxton; son in-law, Jack Saxton; sister Patti Sturman and a brother, Rick Warner.

Friends and family may call Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 11, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Swartz officiating.  Mickey will be laid to rest in Frazeysburg Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and because Mickey loved animals, memorial contributions can be made to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr. SW, Heath, Ohio 43056.
