Obituary

FRAZEYSBURG ? Michael Shook, 55, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born June, 7, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Donald and Virginia (Peck) Shook and he was a bartender at Green?s Tea Room, where he was know as ?Big Mike? to his friends and co-workers. He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley, and watching westerns. Life will not be the same without him. Surviving is two sisters, Joy Seibel and Jeanette Caldwell both of Frazeysburg, two uncles, Vernon Peck of Coshocton, Ohio and Gene Shook of Blue Rock, Ohio; two aunts, Jo McDowell of Arizona and Ruth Hampp of Blue Rock; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Shook, his paternal grandparents, Ray and Grace Shook and his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Peck. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, May 11, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
