Obituary
Michael R. Liggett, 57, of Trinway, died unexpectedly Thursday evening December 2, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Liggett was born May 18, 1953 in Canton, a son of the late Floyd and Mary Jane (Wiengarth) Liggett. He was a welder at the AEP Generating Station at Conesville and a member of IBEW #1466. Mike was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider as well as a Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. His favorite activity however, was spending time with his girls and his grandchildren.
Surviving are 'daddy's girls', Angela (Dr. Dennis) Summers of Strasburg; Traci (Delbert Robinson) Liggett of Nashport; five grandchildren, Emerson Summers, Deryn Summers, Lynden Summers, Chaye Liggett, Aidon Robinson; brother, Daniel (Sandy) Liggett of Urbana, sister, Kimberly (Steve) Souders of Fostoria several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, 'Buddy Ray'.
Mike always felt fortunate to be surrounded by many wonderful neighbors in the Trinway community.
Friends may call from noon until a 2PM funeral service on Tuesday December 7, 2010 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Pastor Greg Inboden will officiate and burial will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
