Obituary
Michael Shawn Gammon, 44, of Trinway, Ohio died Thursday evening, January 30, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born August 26, 1969 in Athens, Texas he was a son of the late Carolyn (Wilcox) Susil and Joseph Susil of Frazeysburg and was a 1987 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. He was a line worker at the Avon distribution center and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Dresden.
Surviving is his wife, Wendy S. (Paynter) Gammon whom he married June 29, 1996; one brother, Jay (Katie) Susil of Zanesville; three sisters, Christa (Brian) Hutton and Elaine (Richard) Bell, both of Frazeysburg and Peggy (Devin) Norman of Newcomerstown, Ohio; nieces and nephews, T. J., Tristen, Tanner, Tommi, Tora, Kendra, Jordan, Boo, Makenna, Cami, Gracie, Ayla, Ezra, Addison and Lydia. Also surviving is his grandfather, Carl Wilcox of Frazeysburg.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Christian Wake services and Rosary will be recited following calling hours.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, February 3, 2014 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 405 Chestnut Street, Dresden with the Rev. Father Donald Franks as celebrant. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
