Michael W. Baker, 53, of Dresden, died Thursday morning December 13, 2007 at his home. He was born July 7, 1954 in Zanesville and had worked in construction for Vern Parsons and R&R Pipeline in Newark. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Baker, whom he married July 16, 1988; his mother, Bonnie Baker of Zanesville; children, Morgan, Mathew and Mason of the home, Kristina Baker of Zanesville, Cindy of Roseville, Michael Baker, II of Adamsville; brothers, David Baker of Florida, Donald Baker of Adamsville, Rodger Baker of Adamsville, Jeff Baker of Dresden and a sister, Kathy Boyce of Zanesville. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Baker. Friends may call from noon until 2:30PM Sunday December 16, 2007 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 2:30PM with Pastor Robert Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
