Micah Shayne Vensil, 39, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Sunday morning, September 7, 2014 at Genesis Morrison House surrounded by his loving family.
Micah was born on his Grandpa Vensil's birthday, February 1, 1975 in Zanesville, Ohio, a son of Paul A. and Pamela J. (Vickers) Vensil of Frazeysburg. He was a 1993 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and was an equipment operator for GeoTex of Columbus, Ohio.
Micah enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and four-wheeling, but his greatest love was his family. Although he was very ill, he spent the last several months working alongside his parents, his wife and kids, his brother and sisters, his cousins and other family members to complete a new home for his family. That time together will be cherished forever.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Angie J. (Neuhart) Vensil whom he married December 2, 1995; three daughters, Courtney Vensil of Dresden, Ashton Vensil and Micahla Vensil, both of Frazeysburg; one son, Wyatt Vensil of Frazeysburg; one grandson, Cohen Vensil; one brother and sister in-law, Paul and Wendy Vensil of Dresden; two sisters and brothers in-law, Monika and Ryan Rushing of Nashport and Brittni and Ray Rothenstine of Dresden; his paternal grandmother, Esther Vensil of Nashport; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Micah was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Shayne Vensil, who died August 29, 1973; his paternal grandfather, Austin Vensil and his maternal grandparents, Virgil and Idamae Vickers.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Meadow View Church of Christ 6750 Raiders Road, Frazeysburg.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Meadow View Church of Christ with Minister Sam Dunn and Father Donald Franks officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
