DRESDEN ? Melba K. Moran, 53, formerly of Conesville, Ohio died at 3:45am Friday, March 17, 2006 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. She had been a resident of Cedar Hill Care Center of Zanesville for 21 years. Born December 3, 1952 in Coshocton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Elba E. Magness and Catherine E. (Balo) Magness of Coshocton and was a 1970 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Ms. Moran was a member of the Conesville United Methodist Church and the Rosewood Garden Club of Dresden. She enjoyed training and showing horses and was a 4-H advisor for Young Equestrians 4-H Club for many years. Surviving in addition to her mother is her guardian and former husband, Richard D. Moran of Conesville; a daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Moran of Bowling Green, Ohio; two sisters, Linda A. (Larry) Adams of Coshocton and Delores I. Howard of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and a nephew, Trevor Howard of Colorado Springs. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Sunday, March 19, 2006 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be 10:30am Monday, March 20, 2006 at the funeral home with Pastor Phil Hoverstock officiating.
