FRAZEYSBURG – Meikel Damian "Mike" Wise, 36, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday morning, June 4, 2011 at Genesis Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.
Born May 6, 1975 in Newark, Ohio he was the son of the late Terry Wise and Theresa (Sharrock) Wise of Zanesville and was a 1993 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Mr. Wise was currently attending COTC majoring in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the Frazeysburg Village Council. An avid pool shooter, he was a member of the Green's Tea Room Pool League and he was employed as an auto body technician at John Hinderer Honda of Heath, Ohio.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Angie Rognon-Wise whom he married October 17, 1995; a son Donaven Wise and a daughter, Lakein Wise, all of Frazeysburg. Also surviving is his grandfather, Larry Wise of Frazeysburg; one brother, Tad Davis of Zanesville; four sisters, Misty (Ronnie) Phipps of Frazeysburg, Michele (Clint) Van Wey of Zanesville, Danielle (Jay) Morris of White Cottage and Cortney Rognon of Frazeysburg; his mother in-law, Martha Ashcraft of Frazeysburg; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
