Mary L. Wisecarver, 90, of Adamsville, Ohio died Saturday morning, March 19, 2016 at Beckett House Care Center in New Concord, Ohio.
Born November 8, 1925 in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Blaine and Anna (Estadt) Warren. Mrs. Wisecarver worked for many years at Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville and later as a clerk at Abbotts Store in Adamsville. She was a lifetime member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church; the United Methodist Women and she was the choir leader for many years.
Surviving is one son, Bill (Niki) Wisecarver of McConnellsville, Ohio; a daughter, Linda (Roy) Cooper of Dresden; five grandchildren, Pastor Jim (Shannon) Cooper of Caldwell, Ohio, Rick (Christy) Cooper of Dresden, Angie Haren of Zanesville, Taylor (Tyler) Bagley of Dresden and Brooke (Curtis) Bissett of Adamsville and nine great grandchildren, Chase, Jaydn and Dalton Cooper, Rachel, Hannah and Lydia Cooper, Christian Haren, Thomas and Emma Bagley. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Glennda Wisecarver of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Walter E. Wisecarver, whom she married February 15, 1947 and who died June 30, 2005 and a sister and brother in-law, Betty and Wayne Wisecarver.
In keeping with Mary's wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private family funeral service will be held with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Adamsville.
