Mary Ann Nestleroad, 78, of Zanesville, Ohio died Tuesday evening, April 24, 2018 at her home.

Born February 23, 1940 in Strasburg, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Irene (Lab) Weinman and was a 1958 graduate of Strasburg High School.  Mary Ann was also a 1962 graduate of The Ohio State University where she received her Bachelor's degree in education.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at the Mattingly Settlement and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at American Legion Post 399 in Dresden.  She loved her time spent volunteering at the American Legion.  Her greatest enjoyment was playing cards and watching sports with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Shannon (Chip) Cullins, Laura (Mark) Morrison and Sheryl (Ron) House, all of Zanesville; three sons, John (Tami) Nestleroad of Brewster, Ohio, Mark Nestleroad of Charleston, South Carolina and Steve (Angie) Nestleroad of Zanesville; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Doris (Bud) Bartlett of Cassopolis, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her loving husband of over 52 years, Jan K. Nestleroad, whom she married June 26, 1964 and who died March 4, 2017; a grandson, Jacob House and a sister, Dorothy Bishop.

Calling hours will be 4pm to 8pm Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.  Following calling hours, Christian Wake services will be conducted.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 405 Chestnut Street, Dresden with the Rev. Father Donald Franks as celebrant.  Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
