Mary Beth Lacy, 60, of Nashport, Ohio died Thursday morning, November 6, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born December 22, 1953 in Steubenville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Tom and Mary (Shaffer) Hudak; was a 1972 graduate of Wintersville High School and received her Associate's Degree in business from Muskingum Area Technical College. Mrs. Lacy was an insurance agent with ALR Insurance Agency of Zanesville. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Zanesville and served the church as a Eucharistic minister. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking. She especially loved helping and taking care of others.
Surviving is her husband, Ted R. Lacy, whom she married August 5, 2000; a daughter Amanda (Tony Parker) and his sons Austin and Drew of Fairfield, Ohio; a step-son, Todd (Amy Buck) Lacy and their children Tyler Lacy, Erica and Lucas Buck of Galena, Ohio; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Jared) Cox and their sons, Trent and Blaine Cox of Dresden; a sister, Katie (John) McCoy and their children and grandchildren of Milford, Ohio. Also surviving are her very special friends, Steve and Judy Davis of Nashport and Shane and Barbara Mender of Dresden.
Calling hours will be 2pm to 8pm Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street with Christian Wake services at 8pm, following calling hours.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 East Main Street, Zanesville with Father Martin J. Ralko celebrating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
