FRAZEYSBURG ? Mary Catherine Johnson Felumlee, 77, of Marne, Ohio died Tuesday evening, July 11, 2006 at her home. Born December 7, 1928 in Nashport, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Parks and Florence (Dunn) Johnson and was a 1946 graduate of Nashport High School. A homemaker, Mrs. Felumlee was a member of the Hanover Presbyterian Church, Life member of Hanover American Legion Post 764 Auxiliary, 8 & 40 Knox County, Life member of Licking Valley FFA Alumni and the Hanover Eastern Star. She had also received an Honorary Licking Valley FFA Degree. Surviving is one son, Ralph (Debi) Felumlee, Jr. of Hanover; three daughters, Peggy Garman of Newark, Pat Felumlee of Columbus, Ohio and Fran Keyes of Marne; a daughter in-law, Luellen Felumlee of Hanover and a son in-law, Gene Keyes of Marne; fourteen grandchildren, Larry Mercer, Jr., Michelle (Cory) Hanger, Heath (Christy) Wills, Toby Wills, Jessica Hayes, Sam Garman, Katie, Amanda and Britainy Felumlee, Chris (Kim) Felumlee, Matthew and Sara Felumlee, Brian Nethers and Keith Keyes; nine great grandchildren, Michaela Hanger, Elizabeth and Erin Wills, Jakob Hayes-Stallworth, Aurora Gutliph and Abigail Hayes, Sydnie, Xavier and Kendyll Felumlee; four sisters, Helen (Kenneth) Felumlee of Nashport, Ruth (Harlan) Foltz of Hopewell, Ohio, Dorothy (Verne) Tom of Zanesville and Nancy (Gerald) Fisher of Gratiot, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Felumlee, Sr., whom she married October 4, 1947 and who died June 4, 1993; a son, Joseph A. Felumlee, who died May 14, 2002 and a daughter, Edna M. Mercer, who died April 25, 2005. Calling hours will be from 3pm to 9pm Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Hanover Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bruce Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
