FRAZEYSBURG â?? Mary L. Himelrick, 91, of Hanover, Ohio died Tuesday morning, May 4, 2010 at Flint Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center in Newark.
Born July 17, 1918 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Georgiana F. (Harsch) Oâ??Flaherty and was a 1936 graduate of Hanover High School. Mrs. Himelrick was a homemaker and was Methodist by faith.
Surviving is one daughter, Judy (Dale) Drumm of Hanover; three sons, Bill Himelrick and Richard Himelrick, both of Hanover and Earl Himelrick of Fredericktown, Ohio; four grandchildren, Sheila (Tim) Gearhart and Adam Himelrick, both of Hanover, Aaron Himelrick of Newark and Earl (Jamie) Himelrick of Canal Winchester, Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Parker, Levi and Austin; eight great grandchildren, Samuel, Sarah, Hannah, Nicole, Taylor, Hayden, Linnzie and Carson; several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Patty Huddleston of Clarksville, Indiana and Janet Wilkins of St. Louisville, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Godfrey â??Muttâ? Himelrick, whom she married September 25, 1944 and who died August 6, 1984 and two brothers, George Oâ??Flaherty and Russell Oâ??Flaherty.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, May 7, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
