Obituary

Mary A. Hash, 73, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday evening, July 15, 2017 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born April 5, 1944 in Newark, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Charles Riley and the late Nellie (Pettibone) Riley Mantz. Mary was a homemaker and a farmer. Her greatest enjoyment was working the farm, milking the cows, cooking and taking care of her family. Her motto was "Cold Hands, Warm Heart". She also enjoyed going to auctions.

Surviving is her loving husband of 56 years, James B. Hash whom she married December 31, 1960; three sons, James B. (Rita Huston) Hash, Jr., Anton F. Hash and Brent C. (Laurie) Hash, all of Frazeysburg; one daughter, Cindy K. Wood of Utica, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Jessica Wolford, Sara Hash, Kaylee Wood, Duane Hash, Kelsey Wood, Shelby Hash, David Hash and Mackenzie Hash, Nicholas Miller, Malik Green and Ethan Reed ; five great grandchildren; a sister, Karen Sue (Jerry) Caraway of McKinney, Texas; a niece and nephew, Lynn and Dean Wilson of Frazeysburg and special friends, Charles and Sharon McNaught of Nashport, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Charles David Hash and a brother, Charles David Riley.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Fallsburg Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Dahlke officiating.
