Obituary

Mary E. Emerson, 69, of Coshocton, died at 4:25AM Sunday December 27, 2009 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Ms. Emerson was born December 18, 1940 in Coshocton, daughter of the late Jesse and Minnie (Kaiser) Turner. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Coshocton and the Classic Glass Corvette Club in New Philadelphia. She had a passion for all animals, had raised Pekingese dogs and her compassion lead her to rescue many dogs and cats. Her passion and joy was working with her daughter, Dr. Rhonda Emerson as her office manager at her chiropractic office in Dresden. They had worked together since the office opened in 1994. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Rhonda L. Emerson of Coshocton; two sisters, Dorothy (Charlie) Williams of Newark, Martha Turner of Mt. Vernon; a sister in law, Nancy Turner of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Betty Leech, Betty Casey and Barb Speaks all of Coshocton and her beloved Himalayan cat, ?Louie?. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Turner and Willis Turner. Private funeral services will be observed and burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
