A funeral service for Mary F. Duke, 94 of Croton will be held Tuesday July 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.Mrs. Duke died Friday July 6, 2007 at the Heartland of Centerburg. She was born May 18, 1913 in Liberty Twp., Licking County to the late Walla S. and Ora Mae (Adams) Disbennett.Mrs. Duke retired in 1975 from Tech Rubber. She spent her life caring for her family.She is survived by sons, Junior (Darlene) Duke of Johnstown, Sonnie (Peggy) Duke of Newark, daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Holland of Croton, Karen (Clarence) Lake of Newark; sister, Leona (Norman) Phipps of Marysville; brother, Walla (Joann) Disbennett, Jr. of Olive Green; twenty grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Sylvia Bowen, Donna Kaniffe; brothers, Merle Disbennett, Shirley Eugene Disbennett, James Disbennett and great granddaughter Stephanie Allen.Calling hours will be observed Tuesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 6500 Busch Blvd. Suite 210, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
