Mary F. Dawson, 93 of Cambridge, died Sunday afternoon, December 24, 2023, at Genesis Hospice – Morrison House, Zanesville.

Born October 15, 1930, in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Buelah (Carr) Buckalew Stoner and Paul Stoner.  Mary worked at Essex Wire, Walmart, and Elder Beerman. She was a member of Market Street Baptist Church.  After retirement, Mary enjoyed gardening, shopping, and taking road trips to Michigan, New York, and West Virginia.

Surviving is her son, Michael "Moe" Dawson of McConnelsville; two daughters, Mary Ann Isenbarg of Milford, MI, and Susan M. (Mickey) Kennedy of Zanesville; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Moe" Dawson, who died April 29, 2015; a son, William "Bill" Dawson; a brother, William Buckalew; stepfather, Paul Stoner.

Friends and family may call Friday, December 29, 2023, from NOON till the time of service at 1:00PM with Pastor Howard Thompson officiating at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband, Paul, at Dresden Cemetery.
