Crawmer
January 6, 1941 – December 15, 2025
M. Maxine Crawmer, 84, entered eternal life Monday morning, December 15, 2025, at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born January 6, 1941 in Frazeysburg, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Gladys (Untied) Harmon. Maxine worked for 30+ years in the cafeteria of Frazeysburg Elementary School. She loved the thousands of children she helped feed and watched over them as if they were her own. Maxine adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent as much time with them as possible. She will be remembered for the love she showed to so many.
Surviving are two sons, Bill (Merry) Crawmer of Frazeysburg and Shawn Crawmer of Zanesville; three granddaughters, Chelsea N. (Christopher Mears) Crawmer, MacKenzie (Justin) Rupert, and Hope M. Crawmer; three great grandchildren, Brent Mears, Mya Rupert, and Morgan Rupert; brother, John W. Harmon of Frazeysburg; half-brother, Joe Summerville of Idaho and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brent A. Crawmer and a sister, Vylie "Toots" Hughes.
A graveside funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Frazeysburg Cemetery with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
Maxine will be laid to rest beside her son, Brent.
