NEWARK â?? Mary E. Bow, 88 of Pataskala passed away peacefully Saturday morning, January 9, 2010 at the Pataskala Oaks Care Center.
Mrs. Bow was born May 29, 1921 in Columbus to the late George and Bertha (Fraser) Roese. She married Russell T. Bow. Above all else, Mrs. Bow was a wonderful mom. She was a loving, patient person who took great pride in caring for her family. Mrs. Bow was a great cook. At one point she baked pies for the Der Dutchman.
Survivors include her sons, Russ (Melissa) Bow of Granville, Dave (Donna) Thompson of Columbus; son in-law, Ted Beede of Newark; grandchildren, Kimberly Palmer and fiancé Brandon Mathis, Karrie (Adam) Miller, Andrew Bow, Josh (Briddney) Bow, Brittany (Nick) Hensley; great grandchildren, Jacob Palmer, Marie Miller, and Hailey Hensley; and a sister, Betty Edwards.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bow was preceded in death by her husband, Russell T. Bow in 1989; a daughter Denese Beede in 2006; and three brothers.
Private funeral services will be held at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Johnstown.
