Obituary
Martha J. Wright, 107 years old, of County Road 6, Conesville, died at 10:50PM Thursday April 29, 2010 at the Coshocton Healthcare Center.
Born November 11, 1902 in Coshocton County, she was the daughter of the late George and Emma (Lake) Noland. On June 18, 1924 she married Fulton Wright, who preceded her in death on July 26, 1978. She graduated from the Dresden Normal School in 1919, received her teachers training and taught in county schools. She was a member of the New Moscow United Methodist Church, Milfork Valley Homemakers Club and was a volunteer at the Coshocton Senior Center for several years.
She is survived by a son J. Richard Wright and his wife, Sylvia of Conesville; a daughter Wilma Molen and her husband Gene of Cincinnati; a daughter-in-law, Virginia Wright of Conesville; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by a son, George O. Wright; a daughter Peggy Ann Wright; three sisters, Dollie Opperman, Lillie Sowers, Hazel Frederick; a grandson and a great grandson.
Friends may call from 1-2PM Monday May 3, 2010 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30PM Monday at Milfork Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Moscow U. Methodist Church, P.O. Box 186, Conesville, OH 43811.
