Marjorie G. (Anderson) Wright, 98 of Newark passed away September 1, 2022 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark. She was born October 25, 1923 in Newark to the late Clyde and Grace (Priest) Anderson.

Mrs. Wright completed her nursing degree in Philadelphia and then served overseas in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant during WWII. After she was discharged, she studied pharmacy at UNC-Chapel Hill. She was an Industrial Nurse at the GM facility in Dayton and was a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Licking Memorial Hospital where she retired. She was a dog lover, especially for Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, owning several; and loved antiques and antique shopping.

Survivors include a brother, Clyde Anderson of Newark; a niece, Kathie (Steven) Anderson Spain of Newark; a nephew, Karl Anderson of Newark. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Wright.

The family would like to thank the staff of Flint Ridge and Hospice of Central Ohio for the wonderful care they provided.
