Marjorie F. Staggers Westbrook, 95, of Nashport, Ohio died morning, June 3, 2022 at her home.

Born August 13, 1926 in Perry Township of Licking County she was a daughter to the late John T. Staggers and Edna Jane Nethers Staggers Tish.  Marjorie was a 1944 graduate of Hanover-Toboso High School and was a member of the Coshocton Church of God.  She was a longtime member of the Missionary Society of the church.  Over the years she worked at the Black Run Grocery Store, Essex Wire Company in Zanesville and in the office of Hanover Farmer's Exchange, as well as being a homemaker.  Marjorie was a very faithful friend and neighbor and truly enjoyed sending cards of every occasion to people of the community.

Surviving is one son, Gary (Sherry) Westbrook of Millersburg, Ohio; two daughters, Yvonne Mitchell and Amy (Todd) Gibson, both of Nashport; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters in-law, Ruth Ann (Dan) Farmer of Nashport and Lea Westbrook of Newark, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, the Rev. H. Dale Westbrook whom she married June 2, 1944 and who died July 5, 1994; a son in-law, Timothy Mitchell; three sisters, Helen (Harry) Hoskinson, Amy (Edgar) Evans and Alice (Robert) McKee; two brothers, Arthur (Belva) Staggers and Joseph (Catherine) Staggers; a sister in-law, Beulah Westbrook; two brothers in-law, Ivan Westbrook and Harold (Nancy) Westbrook, and her step-father, Earl Tish.

Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Mathis and Pastor Jared Mitchell officiating.  Marjorie will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Dale, in Hanover Cemetery.
