Marjorie Mae Faulkner, 80, of Zanesville, died at 6:25AM Tuesday December 17, 2002 at Adams Lane Care Center. Mrs. Faulkner was born March 28, 1922 in Madison Township, a daughter of the late Cash I. and Annie (Lynn) Poorman. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing and had taught at the Bethesda Nursing School and also did private duty nursing. She co-owned the T&F Exterminating Co. with her late husband. Mrs. Faulkner was a blood donor for many years and trained German shepherd dogs as a hobby. Surviving are one sister, Bea Spiker of Dresden; special nieces, Joanne (Kenneth) Paynter of Zanesville, Carol (Jim) Wilcox of Dresden and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Her husband, William Faulkner, two brothers, Leslie J. and George D. Poorman, three sisters, Phyllis Thomas, Annabelle Krebs, and Frances Bishop, preceded her in death. Friends may call 5PM-7PM Thursday December 19, 2002 at the Vensil-Orr&Chute Funeral Home in Dresden, where services will be held at 1PM Friday with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson?s Foundation; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
