Obituary

Marjorie Jean Brennen, 75, of Dresden, died Monday evening October 27, 2003 at her home. Born May 8, 1928 in Zanesville to the late E. Edgar and Anna Offinger Cox, she was a member of the Trinway U. Methodist Church. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter Carolyn Hindel of Dresden, son, Steven Brennen of Dresden; a daughter in law, Judy Goetz of Dresden eight grandchildren, Leandra Hindel and Kevin Hindel of Frazeysburg, Jerod (Cori) Brennen of Hilliard, Jeremy (Steph) Brennen of Dresden, Jessica Brennen of Dresden, Emily Brennen of Dresden, Elizabeth (Craig) Swingle of Zanesville, Nathan Brennen of Dresden, two great grandchildren, Michael and Joel Brennen of Hilliard, a sister, Marilyn (Russell) Kain of Wadsworth and several nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max E. Brennen who died June 20, 1973, a son, Michael Brennen on May 16, 1990, a daughter, Lori Brennen who died May 17, 1994 and a sister, Bonnie Coleman. No calling hours will be observed and private funeral services will be held Wednesday October 29, 2003 with Chaplain Tom Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 2156, Zanesville, OH 43702; envelopes will be available at the funeral home
