FRAZEYSBURG ? Marian A. Evans, 65, of 99 Maple Street, Frazeysburg, Ohio, died 12:28pm Tuesday, July 8, 2003 while vacationing with her daughter in Lynchburg, Ohio. Born November 10, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Larraine (Sayers) Craig. Mrs. Evans was a homemaker and retired owner of Evans Family Restaurant of Frazeysburg. Surviving are six sons, David Absten of Sacramento, California, Paul (Rosalyn) Absten of Frazeysurg, Robert Evans and Pall Evans of Columbus, Mark A. Evans of Las Vegas, Neveda and Darrell (Misty) Mayer of Frazeysburg; three daughters, Patty (Gene) Jaskiewicz of Lynchburg, Ohio, Mary (Todd) Johnson of Coshocton, Ohio, and Brenda Reese of Stuttgart, Arkansas; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, her husband, Paul R. Evans, whom she married April 10, 1965 and who died October 17, 2002, preceded her in death. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Vensil-Orr Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, July 14, 2003 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Schwab officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
