Margaret P. Roush, 83, of Dresden, died at 10:45PM Friday January 7, 2011 at Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.

Mrs. Roush was born February 19, 1927 in Lloydsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Urban. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary to Post #399 in Dresden and the VFW Auxiliary in Dresden.

Surviving are her children, Diana (Louis) Drake of New Straitsville, Everett (Anita) Roush of Dresden, Gene Roush of Dresden; seven grandchildren, Charles (Chicky) Drake of Carlton, KY, Regina Lanning of New Lexington, Deirdre (Michael) Hooper of Gulfport, MS, Brock Roush of Dresden, Blake Roush of Dresden, Samatha Roush of Shreveport, LA, Jeremy Roush of Zanesville; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dog, Tyra.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Roush, whom she married September 14, 1946, and who died July 8, 2002; her brothers and sisters, Frank and John Urban, Anna Hasper and Mary Reily and two infant brothers, Charles and Untone Urban.

Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday January 11, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30PM Wednesday with Pastor Tom England officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
