Marcus D. Ross, 51, of Taylorstown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Frazeysburg, Ohio passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at his residence.
Born April 16, 1963 in Marietta, Ohio he was a son of Ellie A. (Turrill) Ross of Frazeysburg and the late Billy J. Ross, who died in 2008. He attended Tri-Valley High School and lived most of his life in the Cambridge, Ohio area. Marcus retired from Labors Local 692 and he enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Jackie (Sielaff) Ross whom he married June 29, 2014; two daughters, Torie Ross and Abigail Ross, both of Cambridge; five step-children, Jennifer (Curt) Laughman of Old Washington, Ohio, James (Deidre) Mullis of Connersville, Indiana, Troy Hartman, Tiera Hartman and Briana Sielaff, all of Des Plaines, Illinois; two brothers, his twin brother, Michael Ross of Trinway, Ohio and Timothy (Shirley) Ross of Cambridge; a sister, Tonya Ross of St. Louis, Missouri; several grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street with the Rev. Robert Mesnard officiating.
There will also be a celebration of life ceremony at 9:30am July 26, 2014 at Capt'n Morgan's, 5815 East Pike, Zanesville, Ohio which will be followed by Poker/Dice Run in his honor.
