Mae O. Hittle, 83, of Adamsville, died at 5AM Saturday December 25, 2004 in Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Hittle was born November 21, 1921 in Guernsey County, a daughter of the late John Black and Ada Belle (Wisecarver) Black West. She had attended the Adamsville United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Vern L. (Jean) Hittle of Adamsville, Michael D. (Cathy) Hittle of Nashport, two daughters, Carol J. Kullman of Adamsville, Linda L. (Robert) Pitts of Zanesville; her twin sister, Faye (Harry) Dutro and sister Mary Mitchell, both of Adamsville; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Her husband, Alva R. Hittle, who died May 31, 1985, brother Roy Black and sister, Goldie Jadwin, preceded her in death. Friends may call 2-4PM and 6-8PM Tuesday December 28, 2004 at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM with Rev. Bracken Foster officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
