M. Elojean Holman, 89, of Hanover, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2016 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio in Newark, Ohio.

Born November 12, 1926 in Newark, Ohio she was a daughter of the late E. Ray and Ruth (Vermillion) Dusthimer and was a homemaker. Mrs. Holman was a member of Perryton Church of Christ and the Ladies Missionary Society of the church. She was also a member of Hanover Chapter #220, Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and gardening.

Surviving is her loving husband of 69 years, Emerson D. Holman whom she married September 5, 1947; two sons, Curtis Dean (Linda) Holman of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Craig A. (Earlene) Holman of Newark; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Eric Holman.

Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Perryton Church of Christ, 6202 Perryton Road, Frazeysburg, Ohio with Minister Craig Mulpas and her great nephew, Minister Todd Bussey officiating. Burial will be in Perryton Cemetery.
