Lytle Richard (Dick) Jordan, 69, formerly of Tucker Road, Zanesville, died at 12:20AM Thursday June 3, 2004 at Beckett House At New Concord. Mr. Jordan was born February 26, 1935 in Muskingum County, a son of the late Lytle Jordan and Edna Jordan Shroyer. He retired from Armco Steel after 43 years. In his early years, Mr. Jordan ran dogs in field trials and later enjoyed leading an annual deer hunting tradition with his children, grandchildren and nephews. He was a member of the Eagles in Zanesville and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his daughter, Trudy (Jim) Krischak of Zanesville, daughter in law, Beth Jordan of Zanesville, grandchildren, Rhiannon Anderson, Jeremy (Brandi) Balsley, Bryan Jordan, Rene? Jordan, Kristin Krischak, Katie Krischak, great grandchildren, Brennan Anderson, Kayleigh and Blake Balsley; brothers, Leonard (Kay) Jordan of New Concord, Bernard Jordan of Nevada; sisters, Coleen Taylor of Zanesville, Irene Foster of Dresden and his many dear friends from Armco, the golf course and Beckett House. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ellen (Bug) Jordan, June 2, 2003, his son, Randy D. Jordan on October 2, 2003. Friends may call Sunday, June 6, 2004 1-3PM and 6-8PM at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held on Monday at 11AM with Pastor Stephen Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora.
