Lowell T. Williamson, 81 of Frazeysburg passed away Sunday September 30, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. Mr. Williamson was born May 24, 1926 in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Amos and Lilly (Moore) Williamson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Continental Can Company and attended Trinity Full Gospel Church. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Freda (Akers) Williamson, whom he married July 19, 1969; sons, Larry K. (Geri) Williamson of Ridgeway, SC, L.T. (Carol) Williamson, Jr. of Camden, SC; daughters Priscilla (Ernest) Robinson of Camden, SC; a step-son, David A. (Patty) Browning of Newark; step-daughters, Connie (Homer) Phillips of Newnan, GA, Jetta (Doug) Jernigan of Smyrna, TN, Gina (Richard) Smith of Crooksville; brothers, Sherman R. (Ruth) Williamson of Frazeysburg, Dallas (Maude) Williamson of Sumter, SC; sisters, Mabel (Warren) Kirk of Frazeysburg, Irene (Ron) Bush of Frazeysburg, Nary (Willard) Burton of Newark, Lois Bowers of Verdunville, WV; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; and 6 step-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Williamson; one brother; and one sister. Calling hours will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday October 2, 2007 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazesyburg. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 3, 2007 at Trinity Full Gospel Church, 535 Munson Ave., Zanesville, with Pastor Terry Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forrest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
