Obituary
Lori A. Wortman, 40, of Zanesville, died unexpectedly Monday morning August 16, 2010 at her home after feeling ill Sunday night.
Lori was born February 14, 1970 in Zanesville, the daughter of Gerald E. â??Budâ? and Martha L. (Smith) Wortman of Zanesville. A 1988 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, she had devoted her life to EMS and firefighting. She had been a member of Washington, Adamsville and Frazeysburg Fire Departments and worked as a paramedic with Community Ambulance in Zanesville and was working at LifeCare Medical Services in Columbus. She attended the Tree of Life Church in Zanesville.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Gary (Michele) Wortman of Orrville and their children, Tyler and Kaitlin; aunts and uncles, Mr. & Mrs. Lynn Dennis, Harry Smith all of Zanesville, Florence Irene Williams of Adamsville and her beloved cat, Trauma and her dog, Cookie.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday August 19, 2010 and one hour prior to services at the Adamsville Community Center, 8200 Madison Street, Adamsville, where services will be held at 2PM Friday with Pastor Thomas Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Baptist Cemetery, Adamsville.
