Lois A. Robison, 87, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Friday afternoon, December 18, 2015 at The Oaks at Bethesda in Zanesville, Ohio with her loving family at her side.
Born August 5, 1928 in Frazeysburg she was a daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Shafer) McFarland and was a 1946 graduate of Frazeysburg High School.
Mrs. Robison was employed at Shaw-Barton in Coshocton, Ohio for 35 years. The day after she retired from Shaw-Barton she began working for The Longaberger Company as a tour guide in the Guest Relations Department, a job she held for the next 14 years. At the "young" age of 80 she decided to retire again. Lois touched the lives of women from all over the United States and formed many relationships that have blessed her throughout the years. She was a member of the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church and attended Frazeysburg United Methodist Church. She is also a member of the New-Ark Area Emmaus Community and loved serving on the Emmaus walk teams and helping to manage the kitchen. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and making cards and she looked forward to getting together with her many friends to spend the day or a weekend away enjoying the fun, fellowship, food and piecing together her life and memories for all of us to treasure.
Surviving are two sons, Richard (Carolyn) Robison of Dresden, Randy (Laura) Robison of Arlington, Ohio; a daughter, Ronda Robison of Frazeysburg; eight grandchildren, Cassie (Rick) Shearer, Eric (Katie) Robison, Jared (Arielle) Robison, Lance Robison, Randi Jo (Ellsworth) Evans, Jason (Ally) Felumlee, Ranee Williams and Doreen Purtee; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Ralph S. Robison, Jr., whom she married July 25, 1948 and who died November 30, 2006; a daughter, Ranee Robison and two sisters, Elsie L. Howard and Mary E. Moss.
Calling hours will be 3pm to 7pm Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor's Jeff Belt and Robert Mesnard officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
