Lois A. Graham, 104, of Adamsville, died at 7:12PM Friday May 28, 2010 at Beckett House in New Concord.
Mrs. Graham was born December 31, 1905 in Monroe County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Forest Hunter and Cora (Fox) Dye. A graduate of Muskingum College, she was a school teacher, teaching first in Monroe County and then taught 3rd grade at Adamsville Elementary until her retirement in 1972. She had been a member of the Adamsville Grange and a member of the Adamsville U. Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, William Forest Graham of Norwich, grandchildren, Robert (Karen) Dailey, Charlotte (Terry) Emory, Dave Dailey, Michelle (Dan) Robison, Derrell (Sue) Graham, Darwin (Marsha) Graham, Dawnell (Matthew Elli) Graham; ten great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Dean Dailey of Adamsville; two brothers, Willis (Vivian) Dye, Franklin Dye both of New Matamoras and a nephew Leonard Kyle.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Clyde Graham in 1963; her daughter Alma L. Dailey in 2002; a daughter in law, Darlene Graham; a grandson Roy Dean Dailey; two sisters, Martha Rose Cline and Ruth Ella Dye and a sister-in-law, Juanita Dye.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday May 31, 2010 at the Adamsville U. Methodist Church, 8065 East Street, Adamsville where services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
