Lois L. Barrick, 73, of Zanesville, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, November 28, 2015 at The Oaks at Bethesda in Zanesville.
Born April 27, 1942 in Newark, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Martha Lee (Howdyshell) Cartnal and was a 1960 graduate of Licking Valley High School. Mrs. Barrick retired with 30 years of service as a bank teller with Central Trust Bank and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Zanesville. She enjoyed shopping and collecting antiques, including Hummel figurines. Her greatest enjoyment was serving as a volunteer at Bethesda Hospital where she served for over 40 years.
Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Robert D. Barrick whom she married February 5, 1966; a brother Roger Cartnal and his wife, Judy of Newark; a special cousin, Pam (Lane) West of Greensboro, North Carolina; sisters in-law, Betty (Ronald) Miller and Alice (Jerry) Wright, both of Frazeysburg and several nieces, nephews and other cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dean Cole officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
