Lindy graduated from Newark High School and from Park College. She worked at The Newark Air Force Base and Defense Finance and Accounting Services. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Heath and of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 310.

She is survived by her husband, Eric Ricketts; son, Wendell (Charity) Lackey; daughter, Amy (Michael) Mangus; stepdaughter,  Amy (Phillipe) Jacques; stepson, Brian (Tanya) Ricketts; grandchildren, Izzy, Ellie, Luke, Madison and Paige; and a great grandson, Brody.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Payne.

Friends and family may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark; and one hour prior to the service at church.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at First Baptist Heath, 525 S. 30 ^th Street, Heath with Pastor Chad Winder officiating.  Burial at Fletcher Chapel Cemetery will follow a fellowship luncheon at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Lindy's name to Wexner Medical Development Office, P.O. Box 183112, Columbus, OH 43218-3112.
