A celebration of life service for Linda L. Snyder, 63 of Newark will be held Friday September 11, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home 1850 West Main Street with Pastor Scott Hayes officiating. Visitation will be observed from 5:00 p.m. until the service.

Linda passed away Monday August 31, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born February 19, 1957 in Newark to Richard and Nellie (Clemens) Cooper.

She was a former Wal-Mart employee. She enjoyed bowling and played on numerous leagues. Bingo was also a favorite pastime. She looked forward to traveling and especially taking cruises. Family was very important and she was involved with her grandchildren's activities.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald J. Snyder, whom she married December 28, 1973; children, Michelle L. (Gus) Morton, Robert J. Snyder, Rodney J. Snyder, Ronald J. Snyder, Jr. all of Newark; grandchildren, Caden Snyder, Zephyr Morton, R.J. Snyder, Jr., Raymond Snyder, Kylie Snyder, Addison Snyder, Rylin Snyder, Abby Snyder, Jessica Snyder, Katie Luckeydoo, Summer Davis, Dustiny Morton, Alexa Snyder; great-grandchildren, Keaton Snyder, Serenity Morton, Axton Morton; sister, Nancy Phillips of Newark; brothers, Rick Cooper, Tim (Annette) Cooper all of Newark; several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Idleman.
