FRAZEYSBURG ? Linda L. Mitchell, 66, of Frazeysburg, Ohio entered into her eternal life Saturday morning, January 19, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born August 12, 1941 in Lancaster, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Goldie (Calvert) Skidmore and was a home maker. She was a member of the Meadow View Church of Christ of Frazeysburg. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who dedicated her life to her children and to Christ. She was born to a large family and wanted a large family and she enjoyed living with her family in the small community of Frazeysburg. At her passing, she became on organ donor with the hope that through her donation of life others may live. Surviving is her husband, Verlin ?Mitch? Mitchell whom she married February 28, 1956; one son, Doug Mitchell of Frazeysburg; four daughters, Tammy (Steve) Lones of Zanesville, Melissa Dye of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Voniessa (Bret) Brownfield of Thornville, Ohio and Stephanie Wilcox of Frazeysburg; eight grandchildren, Jessica and Heather Mitchell, Joe Snider, Teresa Becerra, Bailey and Brenna Brownfield, Brittany and Braden Wilcox; three great grandchildren, Ysabella Becerra, Mason and Porter Snider; three brothers, Carl Skidmore of Lancaster, Neil (Shirley) Skidmore and Jack Skidmore, both of Newark, Ohio; two sisters, Dorothy House of Newark and Annie (John) Love of Thornville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Wesley Mitchell; a daughter, Kimberly Kay Mitchell; three brothers, Bob, Junior and Donald and a sister, Iretha. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Meadow View Church of Christ, 6000 Raiders Road, Frazeysburg, Ohio with Minister Sam Dunn officiating.
