Lillie Rebecca Burk

Lillie Rebecca Burk, 79, of Zanesville died late Friday morning, October 16, 2026, at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born August 7, 1947, in Adamsville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Arthur James & Cecil Marie (Bickford) Brewer and a 1965 graduate of Adamsville High School. Lillie enjoyed talking on the phone. She liked to keep the family updated on all the current news. Lillie loved her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids and she cherished the time she was able to spend with them.

Surviving are two sons, Albert “Lee” Burk, Jr. of Zanesville and Cliff E. (Jennifer) Burk of West Lafayette; five grandchildren, Jessica Burk, Nikki (Shane) Wickham, Samantha (Bo) Haddix, Erica (Cody) Barnhart, and Nick Burk; nine great grandchildren, Abbi, Logan, Eli, Owen, Chase, Olivia, Guyden, Kaislee, and Karmella; one great-great grandchild on the way; three sisters, Jeanie (Earl) Roles, Rita Davis, Sharon (Rick) Peterson; three brothers, Bob Brewer, Marvin (Deannie) Brewer, and Gale Brewer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband Albert Lee Burk, Sr. whom she married December 28, 1967, and who died November 16, 1995; an infant daughter, Gayla Lynn Burk and five siblings.

Family and friends may visit 9 AM to 11 AM on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil | Wagner | Marshall Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the funeral home.

Lillie will be laid to rest beside her husband, Albert, in Adamsville Baptist Cemetery.
