Letha V. Brookover, 96, of Toboso, Ohio died Saturday evening, March 14, 2015 at the Arlington Nursing Home in Newark, Ohio.
Born July 15, 1918 in Toboso she was a daughter of the late O. C. and Elsie (Romine) Miller and was a 1936 graduate of Toboso High School. Letha was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church and a former member of the Hanover Eastern Star, the Licking Valley Lions Club and the Eager Beaver Club of Hanover. She was retired from Licking Valley Schools where she was a cook at Toboso School for many years.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Drew Brookover of Newark and Ashley (C. J.) Michaleski of Westerville, Ohio; one great grandchild, Maddux Michaleski, a brother and sister in-law, Ronald and Betty Miller of Frazeysburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Walter E. Brookover whom she married December 8, 1940 and who died April 25, 2013; her son, Dennis E. Brookover who died August 16, 2012, one sister and three brothers.
Calling hours will be 4pm to 7pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
