FRAZEYSBURG ? Leroy J. Dillon, 90, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 7:10pm Thursday, March 18, 2004 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville. Born September 8, 1913 in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Jay and Grace (Cruikshank) Dillon and was a 1931 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mr. Dillon retired in 1977 after 45 years of service with the Buckeye Pipeline Company as a field gauger. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Zanesville and a 65 year member and Past Master of Frazeysburg Lodge #490, F. & A. M. He was also a former member of the Zane Trail Campers Club, the Foto Color Club of Zanesville and he was an amateur Radio Operator. Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Doris E. (Taylor) Dillon, whom he married September 8, 1933; one daughter, Lois (Kenneth) Knight of Zanesville; one son, Warren (Jean) Dillon of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, Katrina (Michael) Sarka of Marysville, Ohio, Sarita (Mark) Fenn of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Deborah (Paul) Miller of Florence, Kentucky and Todd Dillon of Lakewood, Ohio; five great grandchildren, Dillon and Ryan Sarka, Taylor Grace Fenn, Kathryn and Dillon Miller; sisters in-law, Margaret Neel of Kent, Ohio and Mary Taylor of Zanesville; and a brother in-law, Howard Taylor of Zanesville. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, March 21, 2004 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg, with Masonic services being conducted at 6:00pm by Frazeysburg Lodge #490. Friends may also call one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be 11:00am Monday, March 22, 2004 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
