FRAZEYSBURG ? Leonard ?Bill? Nethers, 85, of 2747 Gratiot Road, SE, Toboso, Ohio, died at 8:15am Thursday, November 20, 2003 at his home. Born June 17, 1918 in Hanover Township of Licking County, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Goldie B. (Miller) Nethers and was a 1936 graduate of Toboso High School. Mr. Nethers was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church and was Past Exalted Ruler of Newark Elks #391, and Past State President of the Ohio Elks Association, a member of New Home Lodge #338, F. & A. M. and of Hanover Chapter #220, Order of Eastern Star. He was a former Hanover Township Trustee and a former member of the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department. He also a former school bus driver with the Hanover-Toboso Schools. Surviving is his wife, Christine I. (Wickham) Nethers, whom he married January 24, 1939; three daughters, Connie McCullough of Vedro Beach, Florida, Deanna (Ed) Bradley and Billie Bush, both of Toboso; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, November 24, 2003 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg, Ohio with Rev. Donald Moshgat officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
