Obituary

Leona Maxine Williams, 82, of Trinway, died at 8:30PM Wednesday July 28, 2004 at her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Williams was born September 21, 1921 in Uhrichsville, a daughter of the late James C. and Elizabeth Shaw Gray. Her family was her life; she was devoted to her late husband of 65 years, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Prospect U. Methodist Church and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are her children, Gary (Nancy) Williams of Frazeysburg, Tom (Diane) Williams of Trinway, Anita (Bob) Rector of Frazeysburg, Debbie (Jim) Angelo of Trinway, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a sister, Clara Mae Staugh, of Newark, special angels, Letha, Ashli, Sherry, and Charlie and Hospice nurses, Ann, Kelli, and Judy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bryce H. Williams on January 25, 2004, her daughter, Marilyn R. King, on March 17, 2004, a grandson, Trent King, brothers, Raymond and Charles Gray, and sisters Frances O?Conner and Myrtle Burtscher. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Saturday July 31, 2004 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3PM Sunday with Pastors Carl Schaefer and Sharon Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 1984 A, Coffman Road, Newark, OH 43055; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
