NEWARK- Graveside funeral services for Leona I. Lybarger, 87, of Heath will be 11:30am Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Perryton Cemetery with the Rev. James MacNealy officiating. Mrs. Lybarger died Wednesday morning, January 18, 2006 at the LPN Care Center. Born February 6, 1918 in Perryton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clifford B. and Mary B. (Fairall) Walcott and was a 1936 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. She retired in 1980 from Owens-Corning Fiberglas after 28 years of service. Mrs. Lybarger was a member of the Perryton Church of Christ and attended First Christian Union Church of Newark. She was also an honorary member of VFW Women?s Auxiliary #1060, Moose Lodge Auxiliary #499, and a member of the 25 Year Club and Retirees Club of Owens Corning. Surviving are two sister in-laws, Reva Sherman and Darlene Willey both of Newark; and nine nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen W. Lybarger, who died August 24, 1991, and one brother. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Ohio Hospice 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055, or to the charity of one?s choice. The family has entrusted the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home to assist them with arrangements.
