FRAZEYSBURG ? Leatha A. Frost, 100, of Newark, Ohio, formerly of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died at 1:16pm Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. Born October 1, 1902 in Coshocton County, she was the daughter of the late Mervin and Ella (McKee) Ashcraft. Mrs. Frost has been a member of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church for many years and she was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society and the Frazeysburg Order of Eastern Star. She was a former employee of the Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg. Surviving is one daughter and son in-law, Mildred and William Miller of Lancaster, Ohio; one son and daughter in-law, Kenneth and Mildred Frost of Newark; six grandchildren, Donald Miller of Columbus, Ohio, Kent (Judy) Miller of Lancaster, Doug (Barbara) Frost, Greg (Kris) Frost, Bill Frost and Beth (Kim) Thomson, all of Newark; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friends, Dean and Mary Ann Edie and family of Hanover, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Frost, whom she married October 25, 1919, and who died February 12, 1959; three sisters, Ovella Ashcraft, Essa Ashcraft and Faye Page; and two brothers, Jesse Ashcraft and Watt Ashcraft. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, October 11, 2002 at Vensil-Orr Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 12, 2002 at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
